Spent some time in the Highlands with a daughter and her family who have settled there near inverness a few years ago and i must say what a lovely place it is. Would gladly spend more time there . Very peacefull and just a lovely place . Visited Isle of Sky and would gladly spend the rest of my life there . Theres more to lfe than fast living.

As a Scot who has lived longer out of Scotland than I ever did, I think this is beautiful. Sentiments that can be applied to wherever you might have come from. No I am not returning to live in Scotland, just visit and dodging the rain!😂 My family is here in England and they are pretty important!👍

Sitting Poolside in a hotel in Tunisia, listening to Caledonia for the 10th time. So proud to be Scottish.....C,mon get this Independence thing going again.

Was at a Eddi Reader concert few years again, she asked audience for any favourite songs that she can sing, i shouted Caledonia her reply was..... only Dougie MacLean can do this song justice of course she was right. Absolutely love this song.....Hate flower of Scotland sorry.

Just found this sone tonight and listened to it as an unofficial Scottish National Anthem. We never find many songs of Scottish heritage and I'm so happy I took the time to listen. Beautifully sung and thank you Barbara Dickson for posting!

A tear in the eye, but why? A tune that pulls at the heart, but I am human. Two voices as clear as a bell, the duo as one, but never again will they toll.

There must be incredible developments going on in microphones (along with sound recording all around) if this is actual recording, which it appears to be. I don't see how anyone could lip sync that well. A beautiful recording, seemingly faultless. Which is wonderful as Miss Paige's voice is top tier.

Wonderful performance many years ago of two of my favorites.

Her diction is perfect.

I was working in BBc Studios in Manchester when she sang this live. Her perm was a bit longer then, and the Vision Supervisor suggested that when the threes and twos started, they put a bright orange backlight on her. We had just taken delivery of one of the first video synchronisers, and he used to to produce a video “howlround” that made it appear that her hair was on fire! Awesome!
